Plenty of tone and volume. Use one yourself THEN poo poo it.

i can't say i'm a fan of either of those heads, but i do like the 350h more than the 450h.

actually it does make sense to me. i have always been the type of player that no matter what crappy amp/cab you give me, i'll figure out a way to make it work and sound good as long as it can handle the volume demands of my gig, and sometimes even if it can't. i've used every single one of the amps talked about in this thread onstage at one time or another, and i've always managed to get a good sound out of them. but they don't make it easy for me, and i usually have to do a lot of tweaking and compromising to make it happen.

so yes, it does make sense to me that someone could get a good sound out of them even if they're not the best amps in the world. a poor worker blames his tools. but i would much rather not use them.

I tried out a used B2RE a few weeks ago and loved it. I liked it better than everything in its price range that I got the chance to try. The GKs seemed a bit louder but they sounded like stale bread being forced through a slotted spoon. It seems like an awesome starter head. I even liked it running straight with no eq.

(also jk about the GKs they were ok just not my thing)
