Psychedelic Black Rock? Ghost (BC)

If that's the case then they're on their fourth bassist. I met them out of character/costume a couple weeks ago behind the venue at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne (Insane show btw, I really left spellbound by the band's performance). A very nice group of lads with fantastic English, though I believe one of the current members might not be Swedish. Tobias was a gentleman and managed to make my fiancé blush. (she's a huge Ghost fan)
That was pretty fast. Long as the music is good though who cares. The albums have consistently been pretty great, as have the live shows.

I love Ghost! I got into them back in Feb, after my longtime friend told me to check them out. I had just bought us tickets to see Maiden this Summer, the next night we got together for beers, and he told me that he was a little hesitant about paying $100 to see Maiden, but with Ghost opening, that sealed the deal (and he's been into Maiden for 30 years). So with a statement like that, I got on iTunes a few days later, did a "Preview All" of Meliora, ended up buying it (and eventually the first 2), and have been hooked since. Their songs just STICK in your head!

So I saw them open for Iron Maiden at the first US show this Summer, 6/3 in VA, then took my 12 y.o. daughter to her first concert, Ghost headlining at the Fillmore in Philly on 7/20. Awesome show!!

Edit - oh, since this is the "Bassists" section, I am digging the bass lines (and tone) in their songs too! :)
