Psychedelic blues rock band around Raleigh/Cary NC

Hey everyone! Me and my band have been looking for a bassist for what seems like forever, so I figured I'd give this site a shot! I'm just going to post our ad from a different site verbatim save for the last line, it's a little lengthy because the site had a different format, but please bear with me :)

Hey all! I just moved from Long Island, New York to Apex, North Carolina and managed to hook up with a guitarist and drummer in the first week, but unfortunately for the last 5 we've been without a bassist.

Style:
We're a Rock/Blues/Psychedelic/Jam band, think a cross between early Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, and The Doors.

"Criteria":
There's really no specific skill set we can give. We are looking for someone that is in the 18-20 range (we're 18, 19, and 19, so it would be helpful for gigging reasons) and who has been playing for about 3-5 years. The reason I say 3-5 is because it's enough time for a person to have an above average grasp of the instrument, but at the same time it's not like we're looking for Victor Wooten 2.0, just someone that we get along with and can have a great time jamming, gigging, and writing music with. Being able to improvise would be helpful.

As a side note, me and the other guitarist both sing, so if you're a bassist that can also help us out with some 3 part harmonies that would be AWESOME, but it's not a make or break sort of requirement, just something that would be a huge plus.

Level of Commitment:
It sounds cliche, but we are taking this very seriously. We've each been playing our respective instruments for a long time so we're all at the point where we have decided for sure that we want to be in a band. Gigging is definitely in the future, so make sure you can play in front of a crowd. We want somebody that is going to be into helping us create the music and takes an active part in the creative process. It get's really difficult when you have 3 people working and the third not necessarily doing anything wrong, just kind of hanging out and waiting for their part to be written. Everything goes so much smoother when every member is into the songwriting process.

If you play bass and live in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex area please feel free to contact me! Thank you :)
