Pulled another trigger

Sometime next week, I should be getting my hands on a G&L Tribute L2000 Blueburst 4-stringer, maple neck. My first active bass.

Free shipping from Amazon to Hawaii. Can't go wrong with that. Ebay sellers ask for at least $150 shipping for the same bass.

That Blueburst is the most sexiest color I've seen. And it makes me hungry for blueberry pancakes.:)

I wonder how much they are making on the bass...I ship small things to Hawaii all the time and you can't go ground. 2day is usually at least $70 bucks for a small parcel.

I love the color too BTW. Nice!

You're gonna love that bass, regardless of the color. I picked one up used just after New Years from a fellow TBer- that bass is really a tone monster!!

The array of tones you can get is staggering and the beauty of this beast is that virtually everything is usable!
If you solo the neck pickup, you get really close to a P-bass sound, when you solo the bridge pickup-you get a really great MM sound. About the only thing you cant do with a stock model is get single-coil sounds out of the humbuckers to mimic a Jazz- but there's even a wiring mod for that if you're so inclined.

Enjoy it!!
