2. State which punk band/bands is/are your favorite

Finally

3. State your playing refrence (Pick or fingers or both)

1) My first post! I was born to be in this club! Punk is my favorite genre! I throw in different styles from other genres into my music, not just reggea but R&B and funk.

2) First and formost, the sex pistols! The Jam, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, and many more!

3) I strictly use fingers because I'm faster with fingers and love to feel the strings and really dig in, but I'm not against pick playing. I use a pick on rare occasions especially to get a nice growl out of my precision bass at the bridge! But I'm not too comfortable with the pick!

Gettin everything ready for the 7 inch to come out. Just doin the damn thing man. Got a new drummer, probably gonna go out for spring break, we want to go out this winter, but it would be pointless since the 7 inch hasn't dropped yet. More shows together soon my friend.

I've been around a long time and don't currently play in a punk oriented band, but I still think of myself as a punk bassist. Always will. In the early days no one thought of it as a rigid style, but rather as a mindset. People who have gotten into the music recently would be surprised at bands that were considered "punk" in the old days. 90% pick.
