it's actually my 1st time to venture into the fretless realm, but i'm already fretting over the current set up of my fretless.
You're fretting over fretless? No need to do that. The bass is fretless. You should be too...
so i'm thinking to replace these mighty mite pups (which i'm not getting any good reviews online) and stock eq's with barts m4 soapbars and bart 4.6 a/p eq's. (i saw a spector fretless model with this kind of setup.) would the pups and eq replacements with barts be worth it?
I think so. IMO, it's hard to go wrong with a Bart upgrade. But as to whether you
should upgrade, don't be too persuaded by the reviews on the Mighty Mites. As with virtually all things musical, let your ears be your guide...

No such thing. It's a matter of personal preference...
should i go for an all-active set up (both pups and eq's) in a fretless? or should i stick to passive pups w/ active eq's?
If you're going for Bart pickups
and a Bart preamp, then this decision is already made for you - as all Bart pickups are passive, IIRC. But as to the larger question of active vs. passive, this is also a matter of personal preference. A much better question would be: "What are the relative advantages and disadvantages of active vs. passive?" This allows you to assess the best route to take
according to your own particular criteria, whatever those may be -
not according to someone else's priorities.
As for me, I generally prefer active electronics -
if the components are of relatively high quality...
