And I love the lid to my DIY case. :hyper: Debating on swaping out the latches on the other side of the suit case so I can have a removeable top. Either that or cut some small holes in the lid and run some xmas lights around it. :smug:

lol. 'cause it has about the crappiest "distortion" section next to the MXR M-80 i've ever heard. i had a nornal VT then the Deluxe, and i liked the tone shaping ok, but started out trying different preamp pedals when i decided to get OD in a separate pedal. and i guess the "Ampeg Sound" isn't really for me. because i liked most any other preamp pedal's eq section better and LOVE the Rusty Box.

Tech21 stuff is well made i just don't dig how they sound.

Haha that's fair enough, I was just jesting anyways, we all have our preferences :D

TBH I'm not too crazy about too much distortion from VT bass and character above noon, but I love the barely breaking up OD I get when digging in, and fat vintage character.

Until I try Rusty Box probably haha! :p
(I shouldn't though)

Anyways here's my first board (before I just put my pedals on the ground)

In signal chain order from lower right: Boss Tuner (being replaced by a Turbo Tuner in a few days), MXR Bass Envelope Filter, MXR Bass Compressor (going, being replaced my MXR Bass Octave - I'm just not a compressor guy), Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk Germanium Booster (got it based on FB praise from Sean Hurley, who wasn't kidding - it kills), Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B Fuzz (have a Bluebeard being built as well) Boss CE-2B analog chorus (green label with the 3007 chip, but moving to an analog.man w/deep setting ASAP), EB JR volume pedal.

it's not that it's bad, it's just that there are more interesting options. the Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B is very similar, but with a blend and sounds better to me. or Team Awesome Fuzz Machine. or Iron Ether Oxide. or.........
