PYPB 38: When 'a few' just isn't enough...

photo-47.jpg

Nice!

I like the PD-7 because of the Attack switch and the fact it seems more like it boosts lows than lose them. I hardly use it on 1 or 2 because it does get kind of noisy, and I no longer have an NS-2 since I got my SansAmp, which is what I use to induce those metallic harmonics.

It's hard to find now, because it's been discontinued, but if you want, I can send you some soundclips of it.

Sure, that's be great! Let's continue this conversation in PM, so we don't spam this beautiful thread anymore!

Awesome! Would have gone for the Space too, but decided to focus on Pitch shifting instead....... for now! ;) So, am running:
Aguilar Tonehammer => Whammy V => Timeline

Have just sold my pedalboard to downsize back to a Pedaltrain Mini.

Nice! That sounds awesome. I love the Timeline, and the Tonehammer was great when I had it. Can't argue with the size of a PT Mini, either. I'm sure you will have fun with that setup.

Very nice board ttasselm :D

Thank you! :bassist:

My newest pedalboard. Haven't got picture yet but here's the effect chain.

Precision->korg pitchblack->dod 25fx->bbe opto stomp->mxr el grande bass fuzz->way huge green rhino->bbe sonic stomp->behringer ultrawah->ehx holy grail->mxr 80->amp

Very nice! Could be a coincedence or not, but lots of stuff in common with Juan Alderete's setup (VB-2, Meatbox, Envelope Phaser, Ghost Disaster). Some nice rare/classic stuff for sure.

I'll admit to being an Alderete fan boy, and a Volta fan in general. I love older Boss pedals (PN2, VB2, OC2, if I had a use for it I'd have a PS3 on my board as well.)
The Ghost Disaster just shipped out today(it's being replaced with a Nimbus, as awesome as the Ghost Disaster is, the Timeline covers all that ground and then awhole lot more) ....

What case are you using for your pedalboard?

The board is an LYT32, and its just the hardcase you can get from LYT pedalboards for it.

Oh, cool. Did you do that yourself?

No,I've done some minor pedal repairs before but for a job this big I'm not sure I'd trust myself with a soldering iron for this much work. There are a bunch of reputable guys though out there who'll do it, Keeley, DRASP, T1M(if you googled DL4 mods, I'm sure you could find a few more)

Very nice! Compact but so versatile. How are you liking the Empress Multidrive on bass? I've curious about it for awhile but haven't had the money to drop on it yet.

I need to spend more time with it to be sure, but I am loving it so far. The EQ controls and filters are extremely helpful. You can get everything from muffs to fuzz faces to Rats, tubescreamers, etc. if you play with it long enough.

I'm working on getting some clips up soon.

So simple. Yet so awesome.

Thanks, I strive for both of those things!

Another +1 for the Empress Multidrive. Mine replaced a B3K, VT deluxe, Pickle Pie, Musket, XXL Distortion, etc.

Some criticized it for being too "Swiss Army", but that's exactly why I dig it.

The TB'r "Scotch" (I believe) has an excellent review with clips on his website.

+20 Love my multidrive!!! It does everything but gated fuzz sounds. I'm always finding new sounds with it.
