And since the ODB-3 is way over-priced (I usually love Boss, but seriously, an hundred bucks?), I would get a pretty good deal, IMO. If I'm too scared to break it, rehousing and that's it. Hum... Sounds like a plan.

The MXR phase shifter is off your board. Do you like the pedal or has it been sold off to fund your upgrade?

I'm just curious because I'm wondering about trying a phase shifter.

Someone mentioned a while back about the Behringer stuff being surface-mounted. I don't think it was. If you're wanting to rehouse, it shouldn't really matter. I can't remember when I cracked open the Bass Chorus.

But yes, the Behringer stuff is a cheap deal. I mean, Boss clones at a fraction of the cost. And no matter what anyone says, those plastic housings they use are very durable. I weigh 220 pounds and even standing on the Bass Chorus, it refused to crack.

Yeah! I'm still building my new Tremolo to be added to my pedalboard...just waiting on the last few parts from Small Bear.

I picked up a CryBaby Classic, thinking it would be easy to mod like a 95 Original. Big mistake. All SMD components, so I'll be trading someone for a first-gen 535Q or an Original so I can start these mods again.

It weighs too much. It's strictly a 2 man lift. Even without the lid on (as in the pictures) it can't be lifted/carried by one man. Hard to say really. I'd guess between 50 and 60kg.

It's over double my basscab - which is an easy one man lift. It seems excessive but this is my Ampeg 8x10 fridge... Everyone should have a bit of gear the rest of the band hate having to move! :)

Wow Shep! That's massive!
I really like your board, so many options, so much fun.
And of course, the sounds you get from it are just ace!
The weight is up there, but that's the price you pay for sooooo many good peds (and heavy ones) on one large board I spose!
Good thing your band mates are there to lend a hand.

ok, ok, so I tried to jam all my peds that I wanted to use on two boards a while ago.......

Well, predictably, I got sick of lugging/setting up two boards. After picking the pedz I could do without, went back to one.
I think I will sell off my left overs and PT mini so I am not tempted to do that again :scowl:
I have a HH3 on the way and keen to try an expressionator when available in a few months.
I also am thinking of stripping the blue finish from the BOD, maybe have it etched?
Do I make the stupid statement of "that will do/ I don't need/want anything else/ I am satisfied"? No.....
But I am enjoying this board!

I'm also getting a tremelo, trading an OCD to a pedal builder i know, its gona have tap tempo and a 'random' setting which will be cool.
I'm trying to talk him into adding a self oscillating fuzz into it..... \m/

I avoided the SansAmp line, just cause everyone used them and it was either a love or hate thing. I didn't want to be just another SansAmp user... I found out one of my favorite bassist uses a BDDI and went for it. Having it etched speaks how much I dig it lol!

I dig the vertical TAFMs. it would fit perfectly on the PT mini! I wouldn't know what to get etched on it! I trusted a lot of the design of the PBDDI to Danny. I knew I just wanted it to look clean but "rusty-ish". It came out nice!

I actually like the design your TAFM has!

Honestly, the Behringer OD isn't too bad. However, it does suck out some bottom end. I honestly have it on my board as a place holder for something else, like a TAFM. I tried one out recently and it is awesome! It can handle from overdrive to fuzzed out fuzz! very versatile!
I'd save the $50 and put it towards a good overdrive pedal :bassist:

like isher1992 said, it probably would perform like the Boss ODB-3 (and thats not saying much ;) )
