This is the first change to my board in over two months. The Fdeck-Pre previously on the board will be attached to my U-Bass' strap. The Gretsch doesn't need the Fdeck. The serial/dual compression sound is a winner.

New board time :cool:

Going through a major rearranging and such, so cables still need to be run. Only MIDI and Expression done so far... empty spaces are for patch bays to connect the two boards and other utility boxes such as a remote switch for the Bugcrusher up front that I still need to build.

Crappy photos for now! Better camera/lighting when I'm done.

Polytune -> Schism -> &#956;Thumpinator -> PWNZOR, everything else is in loop 1:

Loop 2 of the Schism is Cubic -> Unpleasant Surprise -> Bugcrusher -> Xerograph. Everything else follows the PWNZOR from the smaller board (Randys -> GK3 -> Polytope -> Nimbus -> Timeline):

Well - Not always... I had a bad expereince with a pint over the pedal board during a show like that. It just so happened that this venue didn't have a stage of any sort so we had little choice but to have everyone gathered around.

Always a great vibe from shows like that though.

We have an 'open mic' policy though at our shows. The mic gets passed form MC to MC each dropping freestlyes etc so we never know whats going to happen, or who will turn up. Sometimes you get the odd drunk grab it and make noise... but even thats worked at times. Some dude with a killer soul-esque voice got on the mic at this show and it worked great, we've never heard the stuff like that before.

Yeah, that's the idea (it will be clearer with the patch bay on the smaller board) but basically Loop 2 on the Schism will be empty but you can still use everything on the small board (or even bring along a single pedal to put off board in loop 2, etc.)

The big board is usable on its own too, it just requires patching the output of the chain that would be in the Schism loop to the input of the rest.

The general idea is each Schism loop is capable of octave, dirt and filter tones (or combinations = synth tones) each of which can be blended with each other and the clean signal. That then goes to the modulation, reverb and delay.
