PYPB 41 - Fred The Goldfish

Got the B7K today. I like it but the EQ certainly gives you something to think about; I found dialling in tones more difficult than the B3K but it is certainly more flexible. Will have to see how it sounds live:

... because now there is just no space left and I don't want a larger case. :)

Multidrive -> Euphoria -> Thumpinator -> Octaver -> Wonderlove -> Compressor ->
Grand Orbiter -> Darkglass Vintage -> Chorus -> Flashback -> Polytune -> ParaEq

The placement of the pedals isn't quite as logical as I'd like, but it was the only way of squeezing
the pedals in, and in a way where I can reach all bypass switches that I may want to step on.

The Thumpinator had to go after the Euphoria to negate the phase inversion it causes.
Apart from that, and the tuner not being last, the order is what I want.

So, no more excuses now, go and practice already. :bassist:

FretNoMore's board is going to get reposted a lot... nice board with cool pedal choices (good organizational skills too).

Finally came to a stopping point...for a bit. Just saving for a bit crusher and a chorus. Then the BP200 comes off.
Demeter Optocomp, Choad Blaster, Mastotron, WMD Super Fatman, MXR Auto-Q, Digitech BP200, Boss BF-3, EHX Stereo Trem, Ibanez ES2, Ernie Ball VP JR.

PT Mini as well:

Got the OC-3 yesterday and i really like it. Only minimal tracking issues when i use my Jazz (which is tuned down a half step + drop "D") and a realy FAT sound. I dig the built in drive as well.

I attached the Tuner and BB Preamp to a seperate small board, so i can just grab my essential pedals and put them in my case or gigbag if i want to travel super light.

That's it.

Very nice idea.

+1
I dig it

Thanks!

I guess it would make even more sense if i had a bigger board, like some of the guys in here. But aside from a wah i don't really need/want any pedals...for now... well, maybe i'll look around for a different Fuzz/Dist/OD unit... and a nice flat board with a sturdy hardcase.... great, gas again :spit:

I love how tidy this looks! Do you prefer hard or softcase for the PT? Great board anyways. :hyper:

Here's my board right now

I think that's the first other Hawk I've seen on here. How are you liking it? How are you using it?

I am digging it ok, but still prefer the TAFM for the main fuzz duties. I'm using the Hawk with my SA BEF for wobbles and controlled sweeps. I'm getting a cool 'doubling' harmonic kind of thing with it on notes from low G down through E, which I like a lot. Plenty of sustain too. Pretty heavy pedal overall.

Absolutely love The Hawk. It's everything I need in a gated type fuzz.

^ nice wah ;)

I gotta fit a ditto looper and a bf-3 on this board or i'm gonna cry! Also contemplating on getting rid of the muff/sd-1 and getting the combo of a rat tail and a grey stache or just ditching the idea of distortion/overdrive completely.
