oof. Custom District stuff is no joke. Elon is just the nicest guy. i had this stupid specific need, and he made a board better than anything i'd imagined to fill that need. it's two layers, the one underneath is for the Cioks Schizophrenic psu and my preamp pedal, stuff i don't ever need to touch. then the top mounts back on and fits the three pedals i need, plus enough room to go to the Ditto x2 to replace the Ditto like i want.

...and thanks to one weirdo bass player, little Danny lived out his days in wealth and comfort.

Here's mine! Retired my Bass Big Muff Pi today. The Dirge SSStampede (joy division pedal, my first DW etch) does everything the muff does, but with a starve and oscillator for extra nastiness. The little one with the coffin is another Dirge box, but better suited for a skinny-string. Gonna see if my GP can get any use out of it. Right now, its mostly there for looks, and for stacking into the oscillator. It also plays nice with the Second Voice.

Next up, Malekko Diabolik! And then I'm gonna see if I can talk Brian from ss/bs into making me a mini TAFM. Dont know how its gonna work, but I have some ideas.

...how much do you use the MWBD VS. OFD? I've got the ofd and contemplating if I'd actually use the mwbd as well...

Other than some of the octave distortion sounds I find the Multiwave to be a hard pedal to dial in sounds I'd personally use. They're very unique and experimental tones.

With that said, at the Raleigh GTG another player said he had the Multiwave Pro and said he uses it often and with a lot of clean blend. The distortion on top then helps him cut through the mix.

You'd be better off finding a dedicated Source Audio thread to ask about the Multiwave specifically. The OFD is definitely the pedal for more classic drive tones. Multiwave for experimental tones. Keep in mind the Manta has built-in drive sounds, and you can create some fun experimental drive tones with that too, even though it's designed as a filter pedal.

Thanks for the feedback. Like I said I've got the ofd and looooove it. I also have a manta on its way so I'll experiment with it some. Think I'll need to hands on test the mwbd first.

Sick!

I wish I lived closer to some pedalphiles. The only guy around here that even sort of cares/knows about pedals is a hack keyboard player and self-proclaimed circuit bending "expert" who ruined a couple of my old pedals. And my old guitar player who had a kid and now his vintage and boutique pedals just collect dust. I'm going to build him a couple clones of his dream pedals and try to get him back in the game.
