Didn't mean to go mostly green but I took it as a sign.
Pretty sure I'm the only dude to ever use the Lo Fi as my main drive sound.
PH-1r is cool, bit of a volume bump but it's not spiky/peaky. Nice and warm. Also survived the trip from AUS to Cali in an unpadded shipping bag and some bubble wrap. Guess they don't have boxes down under, oh well.
Beg to differ... I have a whole bag of boxes of everything that I've kept... Don't know why when all the ones off my board aren't actually back in the boxes!
And yeah if I went from Aus to Cali is pray I could take it as carry on or something! Though I did buy a guitar in Singapore and take it back to Aus and it never got broken randomly!
I'm just impressed that it's so tough. I haven't "decoded" the serial # yet to get the exact date of birth but the actual manuf. run makes the pedal anywhere from one to six years older than I am

Pedalboard change number "unknown, lost count, etc!" I think around 50
So changed dl8 for my rv3 and squished my v8 tone fuzz back onto the board! Still has more room to tidy up by changing the power plugs to the new smaller gator type and I need to make at least one custom lava tightrope cable as not happy with the way that bend is in the planet waves one
Corona > LS-2 (Lo Fi) > Dimension > PH-1r > tuner
The Lo Fi actually has plenty of low end available despite its name/function. The way that the EQ filters are set in relation to the gain stage actually gives a lot of tonal variety, though I like it better with a clean blend for low end (LS-2) rather than boosting the low end on the pedal itself.
That, and I don't trust the footswitch or bypass on those old Tone Lok pedals

I've got both the Brown Dog and the Wooly Mammoth. I've been going back and forth and the Brown Dog just went back on the board. I keep going back and forth between the two. They are different and my current thinking is that the Brown Dog is a better overall distortion/fuzz. I also think it plays better with my envelop filter.
BTW, thanks for encouraging me to try the bad stone. I totally dig it!

how are you running the Moog? Do you have one of those Roland pickups?
