PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Pretty chuffed with this board. Decided to sell the El Cap and Blue Sky, both great pedals but I wanted something on this board that can cover them both (more or less) without their high current demands (and size): I can't believe I've only just discovered the Dispatch Master, what a superb and versatile little thing. Loving the T16 and the Photon (great together too) and they both sound great with various Mobius settings. I continue to be blown away by the Disaster Area midi controller; I currently have 70 presets set which cover various combinations of pedals and synth/Mobius presets - it also allows me quick access to a clean bass (just compressor) using the 'Fave' switch as well as the tuner by holding down the right button.

Loop 1: tuner
(always on between loop 1 and 2): compressor
2: octave
3: Boost (but I use it as a light tube OD)
4: Fuzz
5: Synth and Mobius (use the midi controller to have either or both on)
6: reverb/delay
Out to preamp for some final EQ and DI when needed.

Mama Embra was up for the weekend and she made me a nice fleece dust cover too :)

Recently tried downsizing and made the PT-JR my main board - miss the utility of having the EBS Bass Wah on the board, but I really like having a smaller more neat board. Put my Tall Font Russian back on the board after a few months of not using it, and fell in love all over again! The EHX Bass Clone came in yesterday and is fantastic, but I have a VFE Coral Reef on order that may dethrone it. I had to replace the Source Audio Lunar because I don't use any phaser/flanger tones for my songs, but I loved having so much versatility.

Are you able to compare the bass clone to the normal small clone? Obviously there is an eq on there, but are they similar?

Signal chain is as follows:
Bass > Korg Pitchblack > Custom 2 distortion Cat Tail with Blend > Mooer Tender Octaver > MIJ Boss CE-2 > Abominable Electronics Hail Satan Deluxe > custom feedback looper > Keeley Caverns (in feedback loop) > Digitech Jamman > Rusty Box (always on) > Fdeck HPF 3 > Boss LMB-3 (always on) > GK 700RB II > GK 412Neo > ears.

Very cool board!

What are the switches on the OC-2 for?

Also: MEATBOX! That's pretty much how I have set mine, maybe the Octave is rolled back a bit more. Where is it in the signal chain, post dirt?

Hey thanks!! I purchased the OC-2 a while back and dont know which synth mod is installed, but the switches turn the octave & two octave down components into super loud super juicy square waves. I don't know how I went so long without a Meatbox, it's one of my essential pedals. I don't think it gets enough love around here for its note clarity... before I got it, I just kind of assumed it was another wild synthy pedal but it is has a huge range of uses.

Also, I just AB'd the VFE Choral Reef and new EHX Bass Clone and surprisingly enough, the Bass Clone knocked it out of the park! This is such a solid fire-and-forget pedal, and it's SO cheap. Craziness. Both pedals are spectacular choruses for guitar and bass, but I'll be putting the Choral Reef on the guitar board because it has a lot more note clarity and depth for crazy chord sweeps. Very happy I went on my chorus spree.
