Yeah, I wouldnt want to spend $300 on a power supply, sorry. I know I have spent a lot of money on all these pedals but Im not on the market right now for a power supply of that price caliber. I have to work with what I have.

I'm with you on the pricey power supplies. I use a couple one-spots as well as a few salvaged from older audio equipment. I keep swapping around until the noise is gone and call it a day. At this point, I know what will/won't work together and go from there. Less money on power supplies means more pedals, I don't need the 7 Joyo's that I've accumulated but that's $200 that I spent on making cool sounds!

Couldnt have said it better myself. I know that none of us want noise, I dont either. But I do exactly what coughie does, I keep unplugginf and plugginf and trying different things until it gets down to where Im cool with it. Its pretty darn quiet. And I didnt have to spend another $500 to do it. Maybe $100. Im good with that.
Start with a 1Spot, it's cheap. 90% or more of the time a 1Spot will be perfectly fine if you just have 9V pedals. If you get noise, try to find out why. If it's truly unfixable without isolated power, buy a big-a$$ power supply.
All that said, I love your latest board! I need to get some shots of mine on here, but I'm so disorganized right now that I can't seem to find the time to:
a) finish my board (pedals seem to be on the carpet or on my desk as I'm experimenting)
b) take some pictures (not happy with the quality of my phone's camera)

That's how I feel about my camera. I used to like it a lot. But now that my board has gotten as big as it has it's harder to get a good shot with clarity because I have to back up so far away from it.

I only have a few 9v pedals, so a 1-spot and 98% of the power supplies out there don't do it for me. Meanwhile, it's powerstrip & wallwarts... So I may spring for a power $$$upply because most of the pedals I have are best with 18v, and then there's the increasingly annoying Radial 15v pre-amp/DI. I love the pedal, but WTFudgsicle were Radial Engineers thinking? They could've made their 15v pedals all 18v and saved everyone on this board from my bellyachin' about 15v power problems.
I'm going to check out the godlyke stuff. Always meant to grab one but I get sidetracked at times with other pedal purchases

I use a T-rex Fuel tank Jr. I power all my pedals with that except my Bottle Rocket because it needs its own power supply. I have zero noise and it cost only $100. I just run a daisy chain from the first iso input. and can power up to 8 pedals with that plus the 4 other iso inputs. I can power 12 pedals with it without any issues. Pretty sure it might even be able to handle 20 pedals. I know at least the first input can handle a daisy chain and I believe the second one can too. After that is when you run into issues.
It's actually more than the 1-Spot. The Powerall is 2000mA vs 1700mA on the 1-Spot.
Right now I have one just for the Johnk Orange Pre, it is lightyears quieter than anything else I tried with it, it's not even funny. I also got one for my PT-2 board, but I may move it to my main board and use a 1-spot for the PT-2. I am also thinking of ditching the dedicated 18v supply for the Cali76tx and getting an godlyke ISO-Pump.
I got a godlyke at Christmas when I built a little PT-Mini with Joyo pedals for my dad and I was really happy with what I saw there.
Hmmmmm...... Now you have me thinking of grabbing a deluxe kit to see if it cuts down on my noise. It's not like my board is super noisy, but it's still got some to it and I would like it more of it was quieter.
I like using the dedicated power supplies that come with a few of my pedals. Like my OFD, BWhammy and the rusty box. I use two 1spots but I don't use every outlet on each daisy chain of 8. That way I'm not sucking the life out of the 1spot. There are a handful of pedals that draw a lot of ma. The Orbital, DOD delay, probably the hardwire one too, both the zooms for sure and the POG2. It's crazy because sometimes just physically moving a pedal or two will cut down on the noise. Right now it's really not that bad. But I'd still like to get it quieter.
Does the godlyke have that same type of noise thing that happens just by moving a pedal somewhere else?

Depends, honestly, between my cables and the Lehle DC filter, I have very very low noise.
The German store Thomann has a copy of this one (on the inside it's the same). It's actually really good and has five outlets with 120mA each. Costs 40 dollars.
This is the only power supply that was able to keep my black Russian BigMuff PI quiet.
Too bad you don't have this in the US. Would be a very cheap solution.

It has worked wonders for me. DirtyDuke has one too. A few other TBer have one. You may have to play around with it and move it from one location to another, but they are great at getting rid of DC related noise/noisy switches/hum/etc. It will even get rid of issues with tube amps/preamps loading your signal and causing noise backward in your chain. In my opinion, everyone should have one on their board.
With as big of a board as you've got Gregmon, what about the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]? I've heard rumors that that's the power supply that PantherAirSoft uses. The Generator provides a whopping 5 amps (yes, I said AMPS... that's 5000mA
) and you can configure it with the Distributors and Isolators as needed. Not the cheapest power supply out there, but this thing could easily power Sillyfabe's monster board by itself. lolWith the amount of money we all spend on our pedals, I'm not quite sure why anyone would hesitate on a power supply if needed. To me it's like buying a Ferrari and then putting generic Big O tires on it. I do power my PT Mini with a 1-spot because the total current draw is quite low and it's all analog, but my bigger board will be moving up to a Voodoo 4x4 from a DC Power Brick.
