PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

I miss the good old days of thinking a sansamp was all I wanted or needed.

Hahahaha don't remind me! I used a BDDI and a boss CEB3 for years. Like 10 years. Then I joined TB. Yeah. You can see where that got me. All kidding aside I'm damn glad I joined and have learned all the stuff I have. The bassist in me thanks all of you. But my wallet/bank account most def does not! ;)

Stop it! Hard to resist the B7K! Must Resist.... Wallet.... no open...... No......YES..... Nooooooo, must wait. Will happen at some point though. Just not this month. My birthday is in June though. I want to punt the BDDI off the board and put it on standby.

lol. Some people are on Talkbass and STILL think that way, amazingly. Hey, if that works for them, more power to them. I'll stick with my B7K that some have described as "fizzy and scooped."

5sg.

I have no personal experience with the B7K, however I did find the B3K to be a little to mid-scooped for my tastes.
But I believe it admittedly has a bit of a mid-scoop.
Fizzy? Yeah a little but all the knobs work together so well it's easy to dial that out.
But it was still a little too much on the high end sizzle for me.
However I just knew that I couldn't just give up on Darkglass.
Douglas and Spencer are so nice, they take pride in their product, plus how cool is it that they take the time to come hang out with us a-holes on this nerd forum!?:D
So I swapped for a VMT and oh man...
Love.
I wish I could afford the VMT Deluxe.
Someday.

You won't be able to resist when the time comes and you're there. I know the first thing that put me off about the 7 was the price. I found out about DG here on TB right when the VMT was just about to be released. I got all excited and ordered one. When I got it I liked it. But then I kept watching YouTubes and such on the 7 and I retuned the VMT to where I got it from and paid the difference for the 7. I know I was like, no I can't...... But it's cool if I eat ramen for a few weeks......... No I can't!!!....... And I was online and ordering it within a minute of having that inner dialogue going. I couldn't resist.

And my BDDI was off the board and forgotten within a week. I thought to hold on to it for a bit thinking it would be good to have in my arsenal. It stayed on my bookshelf for a month or two and I flipped because I had other things I wanted. Then it began...... The rabbit hole.

After owning my B7K for as long as I have now, the $400 price tag, or whatever its priced at, is nothing for what Im getting. It is so worth it and more. After having used it for this long and loving as much as I do, I would pay more than that to replace it if I was forced to.

B7K/VMTdel rackmounts... Just saying. I have no room for a b7k and I have an RBI in my rack.... I would like to replace it with something lesssssss like a Sansamp
