PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Thought I was done until I impulse-bought that battering ram. That thing is insane! Super happy with it. I just need to attach the third pedal power underneath to be finalized. I can't believe with a pt-pro that I have to kick things off the board.
I am a pedalholic.
Haha, you do realize you have 20 pedals of which three are huge...
You could rehousing the GK. Replace the Neo EHX pedals with a MS-60B... Just in case you wanted to buy another pedal :meh::D

I just ordered a Subterranea in pink :hyper:

I've definitely been thinking about rehousing the GK... Lots of empty space in there. Doubtful that I 'd replace the nano pedals. They sound great and I like being able to hit one button once for one effect.

I was lucky enough to get a rehoused diesel dawg clone. That pedal rocks. Even more so @ 18v.

It's the silver pedal in between my OFD and 60b.

Holy crispy crap Gregmon... That's quite a board. You and I have had discussions about your pedal G.A.S., but I think that's the first time I've actually seen your board. (Admittedly, I'm not very active around Talkbass so much anymore ;) ). Well done! Those are George L cables, yes?

Here's where I currently am.

I've got a Pigtronix Infinity incoming. Still need a Polytune Mini, SA Orbital, SA Expression Pedal and the Infinity remote. Still working out power details, but I'm thinking I'll be upgrading to a Voodoo 4x4... but I've got messages in with both Voodoo Labs and Pigtronix to make double sure I can use a voltage doubler with the Infinity. Don't want to fry that sucker!

Glad my previous experience of being right where you are could help. :D

Also good to know about the George Ls... I spent most of the morning beating my head against the wall trying to work out whether or not everything I want to get on my PT1 will fit or not. Hopefully the George L's will help at least a little bit.

Any reason you went with George Ls versus other cables, like Lava for example?

Not really. I just went with the GL's because i thought they looked cool and I kept hearing about them and seeing them. I was thinking lava too but there happened to be GL kits at the GC by my place so I grabbed one. I've heard the bad exp with them from others but so far, they've been good to me. You just have to make sure you connect them solidly when you do them and I used lock-tite as well. Makes them more difficult to undo if I want to but it's worth it. And I only had problems with maybe two of them before after I connected them. And it was because I didn't put them together solidly enough. I just ordered a couple of the new ones by EBS too. Just wanted to check them out and see how they were. The lavas always looked appealing to me too but after I went down the GL's ave, I already spent the money so I figured I'd keep on going. It took three kits to get more board totally connected. It was worth it for me.

That a DL-8?!

I have and use the DL8. Great delay! I dig it because it has so many delays on it. I like using the tape, slap and analogue delay modes. The reverse is even really good on this delay IMO. And the looper is really nice for really short loops.

What are you making room for?? No more Darkglass :( Nice Timeline though!

Gregmon is correct, it's a Hardwire Reverb. I've had it up for sale a couple times, but have decided to shut down the sales before it actually sold. That's okay, because it's too good a reverb to part with for so cheap. So, it stays!

Don't you worry, sir... My B7K is still here, but it's on my makn board! I'll be using this board for more experimental, "personal fun" stuff. It'll really be focused around the combination of the Timeline and Infinity, with the Hardwire Reverb and Orbital for extra flavor, and the Beat Buddy when it finally ships. :)

I have definite plans... If I can fit everything on here that I'm thinking, here's how the signal chain will go:

Polytune Mini > MXR BOD > SFT > Manta > SA Expression Pedal > Orbital > Hardwire > Timeline > Infinity with remote switch > Tone Hammer

Unfortunately, something will have to come off when the Beat Buddy gets here. I'll cross that bridge for sure when it gets here, but right now I'm thinking the SFT will be the initial volunteer. :)

I posted this over in the Pedaltrain Mini thread, but here's my main board and the perfect case I found for it. The Mini fits exactly into the bottom, and the top tool case has pretty much everything I'd need on a gig. Here's the full post for the whole list. :)

No changes on my pedalboard since October 2013! :)

This is more of a "celebration" for my GAS free state. I managed to control myself and learn how to get most out of a relatively small sized board.
Phat Phuk B always on, works great as a slightly dirty boost and plays great with passive basses, makes all other effects pop out a bit more. Tall Font Russian is awesome, simple and works magnificent with 105Q and phase 100. VMT still holds place as my favorite OD, can get really really nice tones out of this thing. 105Q is still the simplest and best sounding bass wah to my ears. Phase 100 is the phase tone that immediately grabbed my ear when I first heard the bass clips of it, and it beat all the phasers I've tried (including boutique ones), works fabulous live. Nova Repeater is awesome, very simple, very easy to use and fast to set during live gigs (plus no humming, totally noise free live!) and Ditto does exactly what I need (great for practice and gets used live in certain jam and psychedelic situations).
All powered with 1Spot, completely noise free + Godlyke ISO pump is used for Nova Repeater at 12V.
Still GAS free!

I have one too and it stacks up well against my iB Modified nova delay. The tap tempo is a bit of an arse but having the looper it's cool
