I didn't think I'd need any functionality like that until I started playing a bunch of solo shows. Having two-three different delays is cool, until you've got a redundant board where the only difference in the delays is effect chain location.

They're both awesome and pretty different muffs.
The middle footswitch on the Eau Clair Thunder cut the tone knob out and flattens the mids, I leave that on all the time so it doesn't get swallowed up when playing with the band. I also use and love the feedback part of the pedal a lot!
The mids on the sovtek are so versital with the many options that I don't really have the words to describe them.
Both are great pedals.

Ok, I'm getting ready to wire it all up...

I just got the Strymon Sunset and the Two Notes Torpedo CAB M, so, I have no idea what they're gonna sound like, lol. The space at the bottom is for a Strymon MultiSwitch for the Mobius. I might switch out the FEA DB-CL for a Cali76 CB sometime in the near future, but this will be it for a while. I'm currently using a Strymon Zuma power supply, and I'm gonna add an Ojai R30, mainly because if I do get A Cali76 CB, I'm gonna run it at 18v. The Zuma has two outlets that can run at 9/12/18v, but they're being taken up by the TF Trilobite(12v), and the Two Notes Cab M(12v), so I'ma need another ps that can run above 9v. Plus, I do prefer that every pedal have its own power.

Yes, please!! Keep us posted about that CAB M. I'm really tempted to get one myself and a good review from a fellow bass player will make the decision easier. ;)

So, right now, all I can give you guys is a seat-of-the-pants impression. I got the board rewired so I could test everything out. I've got the CM at the very end of my chain, because that's where it makes the most sense to me, but I've heard that I might wanna try it in my preamp's FX loop. I'll give that a shot later on.

My initial impression is that this is as good as I'd hoped! I actually ran the CM into a Crown XLS 2002 feeding an Ampeg PN-410, which isn't how I would ever run it, but I didn't want to start on headphones. The unit is super easy to use! I haven't even downloaded the software and I was able to craft a preset. You can get a lot done with the two buttons. I set it up with the Heaven Top cab sim(I think that's an Eden 410?), a PP 6L6 power amp sim, Dyn Bass20(RE20) & Dyn Bass52(Shure Beta52) mic sims, everything in phase and on axis, and it sounds legit! You can turn up the volume of the power amp sim, and get overdrive, just like it's supposed to. Everything you adjust will make a difference. They put some crazy engineering into this box!

Since I don't think anything created at bedroom volume was ever useful at gig volume, I won't really know how it sounds until Saturday night through our P.A., but my bedroom volume preset sounds like a real amp! I'll try headphones tomorrow night, but I'ma give it a probationary two thumbs up...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm even more pleasantly surprised at how awesome the Strymon Sunset sounds! I've been looking for an OD that sounded killer right BEFORE it started to break up, just to add some warmth and phatness. So far, that's exactly what I'm getting with the Sunset. I was prepped for the "smooth" grit on side A, that's what lead me to the Sunset initially. Side A stays fairly clean unless you really bump the gain and dig in. The first two settings on side B are gnarly as hell, but what really surprised me was how mellow the JFET setting was on side B. Right now, my fave setting is running both the side A Germanium AND the side B JFET together. Again, this is at I've-got-a-sleeping-family volume, at gig volume, it may sound terrible, but I don't think it will. I'll let you guys know more when I know more...;)

Current version of my pedalboard. After more than 5 years, the Pork Loin has left the board (but I have the feeling it won't be for ever); being replaced by the Model feT. Man, is that thing good! :bassist: This leaves the Swollen Pickle as the "last man standing" of my original board.

Anyway, I'm planning to bring some pedals back for demo video purposes, so after the weekend rearrangement who knows how the board will look like... :D

Finally another update on my board, It's been a while.

What has changed?
- EQD GhostEcho is placed further down the chain, gives the best result before all the modulation effects.
- Modified the layout on the small board.
- Two new power supplies under the hood. Harley Benton ISO-1 Pro and ISO-2 Pro. The ISO-2 was chosen due to the need for 12 Volt with the Two Notes LeBass and the DG Microtubes X.
- Thanks to these new power supplies I could ditch a HB Junior and a few wall warts. Each pedal has its own power socket now - no more fiddling with daisy chains.
- Two new mini pedals, HoTone EKO en Tape EKO.
- TC Fluorescence back from pseudo retirement.
- Some new cables here and there.
- Some Invalid Link Removed light dampening caps for the pedals that have a spotlight for the on/off indication (all Earthquaker Devices and the MXR Envelope).

The lighting, obviously, is of no use in the dark, LOL! It looks pretty, though...:D

I'll be able to give a gig report on the Two Notes Cab M on Sunday. Sounds good so far...:thumbsup: The Strymon Multiswitch is fantastic. I can click through all the presets WITHOUT having to bank up or down. That's legit! The whole board is powered by Strymon-a Zuma and an Ojai R30. There's still a chance I might replace the FEA DB-CL with a Cali76 CB, but I forgot how bad@$$ the DB-CL was. It reminded me, convincingly, how good it was as I was noodling around earlier. I'm pretty pleased.

I have been doing some updating on my board tonight and I haven't posted my board in a few years, so here is the current state. Still need to run few power cables and tidy up the cables on the bottom. The hole in the upper left is for a Broughton hpf that should be here in a couple of days. I am also adding a fairfield barbershop on a small shelf underneath the board, but I have to tape the knobs (it barely fits with the velcro) and I am still working out my setting before it is "set" and controlled by the loopbox on top. Anywho.

So have settled on this as my pretty permanent band board, only change was try to re arrange it so polytope was more effective and everything fit better... semi disappointed in the dirty robot as it is so nice but also lacks volume and / or doesn't play nice with some of my other pedals or the chain... seems to like where it is best now though so will basically try and dial in a mini 66 into dirty robot into mbd1 combo ... most the other stuff is pretty self explanatory and few times that it's more than 2 or 3 pedals turned on.
