The Millennium Falcon pedalboard now sports a sweet cover made by my wife. It also swapped the Radical DX (it's on the Mothership now) for the EQD Pyramids. This board now has three dedicated flangers!

Update:

Not a glamour shot, but current state of affairs. You may note that there are a number of removals:
-Broughton Joshwah (C4 has taken over for that)
- Mooer Slow Engine Volume Swell (C4)
- my crossover loop is gone: crossover-Frazz-Xerograph
- Frazz in its own loop for now
- Polytune Mini replaced by StrobostompHD
-Future Impact returns to board.

First major shakeup in a few years and a few hundred shows.

Next up, that Hub may be replaced by a Disaster Area Micro-gHost.

Likewise...I dropped my MS-70CDR with a 2nd H9. The Zoom is an amazing little pedal, but the H9's verbs are a lot clearer and more transparent....although I do miss the Strymon ICE model....that was pretty special

Finally ripped apart the LYT F16 and put this together for this weekend, will do a nicer build after the gigs but this is likely what I will be sporting for a little bit until going with two boards but that is a whole 'nother chapter.
Underneath is [sfx]mThumpinator > Mosky Loop Box -> SA C4 > TC Sub n Up > TRex Quint > EHX Mel9 > SA Aftershock > EHX BassBalls >Loop Return> Zoom B2.1u to amp. All quietly powered by a 1spot for real. I have an EHX Superego Plus coming so i have some rethinking to do

I have a handful of "ice" delays that are in regular use. If I couldn't have a 5th-octave option on a delay, I'd probably skip for the amount I use it. I also have one with a minor third I use from time to time that's kinda creepy.

The Crystals on the H9 are very nice, but the Strymon ICE is different and can't be replicated on the H9. I like them both a lot. I've not tried the Nemesis Helix yet although Zach / Proton's you tube video certainly demonstrates it well.

My problem is that it won't 'kill off' much on my board. When I use effects, it's rarely one at a time...I layer in delay or chorus or verb along with whatever base tone as well. Due to its size, it would need to be able to do double duty somewhere.

Sorry to everybody for my lack of content lately. Been a crazy few months. Marriage, honeymoon, road trip across the country, and I just started at a new winery and we're in the middle of harvest craziness.

There is a Broughton LPF, Mission Expressionator, & Providence Bass Vitalizer mounted underneath. And a Saturnworks 2 channel mixer underneath the ARP-87.

Signal Path is Bass -> Broughton LPF -> Providence Vitalizer BF -> Octabvre -> Subterranea -> Pitchfork -> Subspace -> B.E.A.D. -> C4 -> Proton -> FrantaBit -> Polytope -> Xerograph -> Saturnworks Mixer (along with output from Moog Synth) -> ARP-87

The Dunlop DVP4 along with an expressionator controls the Pitchfork, C4, FrantaBit, & Xerograph. The DMC.Micro controls the C4.

How do you like the BEAD v2? I've got an original in yellow and I absolutely love it, so I'm hoping he does a little run of colors of the v2 like he did for v1.

I really like the v2 and the additional controls are worth upgrading for in my opinion. I briefly had a v1 and it didn't make it on to my board.

I'm a big fan of the IE oxide but a tiny tweak can completely change the sound. With the BEAD v2 and a tight gate setting, I can get something similar to the oxide but less sensitive to slight knob changes.

That's the first time I've seen or heard anything about a v2. The gate control looks tempting. I've just recently bought a (v1) BEAD but haven't had time to explore it yet

Removed all pedal preamps, but saved the oxford and american sound.. Figured no point in flipping them since I usually want to try them again after a few months.

It's not a noisy setup at all, but having the NS2 on the board giving me that absolute silence when I stop playing is wonderful. Love those little utility pedals.

Got a great deal from a buddy of mine on a Mono large board and case and finally got it all set up. Moved from a Metro 24 so having the extra space is super nice as well as having my looper on the board itself instead of sitting on the floor next to it. I also made the decision to upgrate to dual lock on this board.

The big differences between the boards are the holes to route cables. The Pedaltrain open channels definitely make it easier to just place and know that there will be a spot to get the cables to connect. The Mono takes a little more time and careful thought to make sure things line up with the different holes. I had to do more surface cable routes. With the dual lock, it made it a little more difficult to place the pedals as I was used to the Velcro being basically covering the whole board and being able to just drop and it sticks.

I'm really happy with it. I know after a little bit of time with it I'll adjust and make some tweaks. New board then old board

SA C4 integrated into my board booting my MXR BOD off to eBay sometime soon. Loop 1, ch 7...midi CC working via my Boss ES-5 through the hub. Working really well. Hoping to get my head around the desktop neuro interface soon for some unique pads and swells.

Decided to sell some pedals off, buy some new ones and have only 2 main boards instead of 3. The third board is for my Arturia Microbrute.

This board is the smaller of the 2 and is actually quite easy to transport. New additions are the Ezekiel Clone and the Radical Delay DX. Overall it's very smooth, great flow, super quiet and just works! Realized that both my boards need two analog octavers and lots of fuzz of various flavors

Amazing boards! how do you like the Alexander Radical Delay?
