PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

How do all you Line Signal splitters like to arrange each loop, assuming there's more than just one pedal in it?? Dirts in one and Mods in the other has been working well for me so far.

Any pedals that are essential to you that must go before the split or after it?? I figured that the H/Lpf would do the most good there, but I'm curious about others learning experience or thought process. I already KNOW that's where some would consider the best place for their muteable Tuner in case something on the board takes a :poop: during a gig.

@BurningSkies I see the Westone IEM case do you use in ears and a stage amp? Does your FOH hate you?

Yeah, still have full setup and IEMs running. Often I'm using a single IEM (right ear, which is the ear that probably hears at about 50% due to no-music related hearing loss), that mostly has click, a bit of hat and a tiny bit of reinforcement for vocals & bass. My stage volume hasn't changed appreciably, but I'm not so terribly loud that it's a FOH issue.

Older picture because I haven't taken a newer one. Our guitarist who is also IEM is using my 135w Fender Twin these days, usually turned backwards.

Does it count as new if it's the first time I've opened the case in two years? I moved to Wisconsin from Indiana a few years ago and lack of a band and kids and work and school got in the way of playing, so, this just sat around collecting dust until the other day when a drummer friend of mine in Nashville asked me to start sending some recordings back and forth. So, it's baaaaaack, in all it's dirty goodness.

That's a nice collection! I hear you with the lack of stuff... my band hasn't played properly in two years and we have had two "jams" every few months this year so far.

Latest update. The Baxstabber was not doing it for me in the current setup, so I re-arranged the board a bit and brought the BB Preamp back, because I always need to have a Bax-style EQ on my board. And also, the drive on that pedal sound ace. It does castrate the initial attack of the note quite a lot, so it doesn't work in every context... but oh, boy! Doesn't it sound great in the right mix! :bassist:

(Side note for those BB-owners out there: if you are having trouble with it, try placing it before every other drive. It works much better )

I had the Team Awesome! Fuzz Machine in the place of the Swollen Pickle for few weeks but, while it does sound awesome (pun totally intended ;)), it turns out that the SP is MY fuzz sound. No matter how much I try to replace it, it always comes back. The same happens with the T-Rex Bass Juice.

Now should be the time to mention that I have a Darkglass X7 coming this way, and the board will be thoroughly re-arranged... so this post was basically useless!

The latest update. I got rid of the industrial strength Velcro (that was fun, let me tell ya) and re-did everything with dual lock. I just made a bunch of changes to the board, so apart from possibly adding the new Tech21 Steve Harris pedal or a Darkglass VMT, I'm done for a while. It's time for the annual new gear embargo for the holidays, too. I'm loving the Darkglass with the Sheehan pedal.

For a while i was playing Pimp my Pedal by running my original purple Sheehan in the clean loop and blending it with the dirt channel of the Deluxe. Why? Why not?

Oh, and I have a Barefoot v1 Big Bore on the way because the Compressore not having anything really bothers me even if it is an always on pedal.
