Yep, it's a "copy" made by Johnk. Not sure how many he put together but a buddy of mine let me borrow one just like it a few years ago & I fell in love.
Got this one on Reverb for a decent price.. I really dig the etched chrome & of course the THIcNesS

I, too, use cardboard, but mine's not as fancy as yours with the felt marker flare!
I like lookin' at other people's boards, but not my own. Hardly take any pics of mine except for when it's a mess.

put together a spare board out of "leftovers" after i put my midi mad hx stomp together. Tested in rehearsals yesterday and will be left there for the times i can't bring any gear with me.
In some ways, it does sound better. Rough and less refined, cuts through in a nice way and most of the time leaving me in the "clean" tone that just barks. Tonehammer plus sd comp is just a great combo!

Replaced my Radial Bassbone for the SLO. Love the sound, and the MBD-2 can now be used for higher gain OD instead of a always on low gain OD. So we can now look for more fuzz. I'm thinking about a Colorsound Fuzz or the Benson Germanium Fuzz.

I put the two frequency trim pots on the outside. I added a distortion volume for when it is in dist mode. I added a decay knob to set the time of the fall of the filter.

I need to know what is going on with your BassBalls.

Just received my first "real" board
And man do I have new respect for all you that make boards look so nice and clean
No velcro on mine yet so they are all crooked but it's tough to know how to set up

This is my main "working" board I use for probably 75% of my gigs.
My Darkglass ADAM gets probably the other 25% now that the update is out.
I have another board that's just for my dual output ala' Billy Sheehan wired basses.
