PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Tried running the Oxide with the Bloop and love how they play together. I was using the Oxide at a rehearsal the other night, and thought it sounded a little harsh. So, I put the Bloop on and it totally made the Oxide sound better.

View attachment 4353759 Because I needed an extension cab to play along with my wife, I ditched my bi-amp low effects into one and high effects into another with a Radial twin city for a simpler single amp setup. I'm using my AMT A-Bass tube pre between instrument and amp, and the pedal board is through the effects loop.

Board is EHX Mono Synth -> JRocket Squeegee -> Waza Metal Zone -> Walrus Monument Tremolo -> Dunlop Mini Bass Wah.

How do you like the AMT A-Bass tube pre? Thinking of adding one to my Little Mark Vintage head (has already a tube preamp) for extra thickness and warmth, for my dub project. Do you think it would do the trick?

Pretty much all dirt pedals sound better with the Bloop to my ears. I finally got my hands on a Broughton FFXL for a bit more tweakability... really looking forward to trying that out.

How are you using the ghost trap vs the ffx loop?
I posted this a while back. Here's my chain:

ST-300 Mini > Power Stage > Dirt Slayer DI > Synth Voice > Broughctave > FFXL Send (Solarian ≥ Quicksilver ≥ Sunray ≥ Olde Dirty Bass ≥ Ghost Trap [High Loop - VT / Low Loop - LS] ≥ Calamity ≥ Wizard Fuzz ≥ Maestro ≥ Dystopia ≥ Shalashaska ≥ Sunn Beta Bass ≥ MBD-1/2) FFXL Return > Xerograph Deluxe > Polytope > Arcing Prisms > Echosaurus > Ultrasheer > Archetype Valve Boost > Resonant Filter Equalizer > Empress Bass Comp > Studio One

All of my dirt is in the Filter FX Loop including the Ghost Trap.

I nicknamed the Ghost Trap the "Mega Rat". It has a Volt Thrower in the Hi Loop and Locust Star in the Low Loop. I plan on possibly adding the 125B VT and Super Volt Thrower to the mix as well.
