Can't really answer specifically since we might use our pedals with different intentions and take what I say with a grain of salt because I'm dumb, but I downloaded a ton of different patches for the C4 and was happy I owned both because I was convinced there were sounds I was getting that I couldn't get on the Enzo. But after learning the complicated pedal that is the Enzo (I'm still pretty clueless) I was dialing in better sounds than the patches I had on the C4.
But again, I was more inspired and determined to learn the Enzo than dealing with a bunch of downloaded patches from the C4.

Swapped in an EQ2 at the end of my chain. It's been a lot of fun so far.

I liked it a lot better than the Broughton SV-Pre.
@cataract I loved the SV-Pre and was very skeptical of the Super 300 but it really is superior imo. Like Matt, it's a big piece of my sound, always on.
Swap the big tuner for your mini and get that sweet white Utility Knife between the fuzz and comp.
Your mini boards are always beauts and have inspired me to downsize again now that I've got a regular gig.
I know I'm in the minority but I liked the SV-Pre better in my setup. I thought they were different enough that it was difficult to even compare them since the 300 got dirty sooo quickly in my setup. The Sv-Pre had more range while still remaining clean. From what I understand though not everyone experiences/d that with the 300

It's definitely different than the newer circuit! Not in a bad way. I like the less refined feel. Do you happen to know where the internal trim for the 2nd drive pot is set? Stock? I could just open it up again and see but figured I'd ask. Also have you ever ran yours at 12v?
I've never opened it up. Pretty sure the 2nd switch is set to max.
I've tried 9, 12, 15 and 18v. All slightly different. If you like lower gain then try it a 18v.
Cool! I might double check sometime tonight. I've read someplace here that knocking it back to 65% sounds pretty perfecto for basses. The grit's very tasty as is though
The internal trim is just another gain knob, same as the front. That way you can decide what you want it set at using the gain on the outside, and then set the internal gain.Cool! Less refined is a great descriptor. Agreed. One of the reasons that I love it. I also prefer where the low and high eq is set on the v2. That was changed on v3 I think, and carried over to v4.

A little board for guitar hacking. Dude Incredible into the F55, even with my $100 Squier Strat, does a credible Neil Young/dimed tweed tone.
