PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

A few changes, still two pedals coming to replace two of the three Boss pedals that remain.
I need to do something with the rat's nest that are the power cables. Something besides be lazy...

Guys, here it is. I can't believe it fit! That wasn't even my original plan.

Chain:
Bass/guitar -->
Digitech Drop -->
Source Audio Manta Bass Filter -->
Empress Compressor -->
Loopmaster True Bypass Looper -->
(Behringer BSY600 -->
Digitech Bass Synth Wah) -->
Empress Heavy -->
Empress Multidrive -->
Eventide Pitchfactor -->
Eventide Modfactor -->
Line6 M5 -->
Darkglass B7K -->
Pigtronix Infinity Looper -->
Singular Sound Beat Buddy -->
Amp

Controllers:
Source Audio HH3 --> Source Audio Manta
Digitech FS3X (#1) --> Eventide Pitchfactor
Digitech FS3X (#2) --> Eventide Modfactor
Ernie Ball VP Jr. 25k --> Eventide Modfactor
Source Audio HH3 --> Line6 M5
Custom Dual Momentary Switch --> Pigtronix Infinity Looper
this1smyne 25k Stereo Expression Knob --> Pigtronix Infinity Looper
Singular Sound Beat Buddy Footswitch --> Singular Sound Beat Buddy

MIDI Chains:
#1: Eventide Modfactor --> Eventide Pitchfactor --> Line6 M5 (tap tempo throughout, expression CC from Modfactor to Pitchfactor)
#2: Singular Sound Beat Buddy --> Pigtronix Infinity Looper (tempo, start, stop)

Power:
Voodoo Labs Pedal Power Mondo (including multiple pedals on the courtesy outlet for now)

Cables:
All signal chain cabling between pedals is with EBS Flat Cables. TS/TRS cabling for controllers is a mix of different things.

The underneath is a bit of a bird's nest, and I need to figure out the power. I may or may not be able to get by with what I have, but I will have to add some daisy chains/current doubling cables/voltage double cables. I took off the Morpheus Droptune and Source Audio Dual Expression Pedal (on the block soon) to do this. The Ernie Ball VP Jr. might eventually be replaced by a Source Audio Reflex. The Beat Buddy extra footswitch is kind of unwieldy; I'm considering ditching it for another custom made 1590A-sized one---I found a guy on eBay who will do those kinds of things at very reasonable prices, I'm very happy with the one he made for my Infinity.

B3K and Ashdown Hyperdrive. I like you.

:thumbsup: My two all time favorite drive effects.

The B3K for that mid-scooped mild/moderate drive.
The Hyperdrive for the high-mid bumped grindy twang.
Together, it's pretty awesome.

I also parallel mix the Hyperdrive with the Green Muff to bring back some string attack.
Works really well.

I just need to build that heavy distortion, then I'm all set for dirt!

Yikes, wow and awesome!
Kinda jealous of that Infinity Looper... :)

I've told the story elsewhere, but it was a complicated "on a whim"/surprise trick by my wife and another buddy of mine. I really enjoy it, and the reason I wanted to get it (over, say, a Ditto or something simple) was for MIDI with the eventual arrival of my Beat Buddy, and let me tell you...that part is totally worth it. The MIDI between the two works flawlessly and makes things so fun.

nice! Yeah. I had a Timeline for a minute, and the Disaster Area midi controller I had with made it like 20 times better than it already was.
And that's saying a lot, given how amazing the Timeline is.
Makes me wish I had more midi controllable effects.
oh well.

I've posted this in the Breeders thread and my personal thread, but I realized I never posted it here! Downsized from my PT-Pro to the PT3 and loving the size change. Due to the particular pedals that were added and lost I actually gained a few sounds! Could be a few big changes occurring here in the next few weeks if I can get the cash and make everything fit on this smaller board!

Just the board (not current pedal arrangement):

Dude I checked out your band, you guys are really good. Everybody else on this thread should do likewise, I have never heard anything like your music before.

First time posting my board. I still have some space to fill! I have an orbital that will go on here as soon as I get the correct power cable this week. I went through a phase where I didn't use any pedals, but over the last year I have been getting back into them. I also have an MXR M87 compressor and an Fdeck, but those are "always on" and are secured in my skb case with my pre amp and power amp.

Very cool board. I like the pedal selection :)
