Yeah, the looper & blender pedals are friggen awesome, the build quality is great, and the looper feels solid as a rock...Bryan was a real pleasure to work with, I'm glad I went with Saturnworks.
What pedal is he making for you?

I also got a PT Nano with a Volto underneath a couple of months ago, it has seen a couple of different setups since then but for now it's my double bass board for an upcoming gig:

Threw this together for a sub gig this afternoon. It's been a really long time since the ShuttleMax pedal has made it up off the ground and onto the board, but I wanted a more minimal setup, and there was space.
Hmm, I've been trying out a few myself. It should be noted that my target is to have one (or more likely, two) to work well with both my regular basses and my Bass VI.
* Catalinbread SFT -- Can have a nice subtle break up and also get pretty gnarly. I have the older version. Great pedal.
* Catalinbread WIIO -- I really love it on my Bass VI, and not quite on my regular basses. Certainly not as much as the SFT. But I did get it with the intent to use with the Bass VI which I do like better than the SFT in that regard.
* ss/bs Mini -- Just picked this up the other day. Very versatile, and may be the one that I ultimately keep because I really like it on both Bass VI and my other basses. The "Bias" knob is really cool; it can give you some pretty thick overdrive, but can be dialed back to give you that sag, or almost gated sound. I've had an awesome time playing through it, and it sounds great with a Proton (a little quacky though), but I'll probably still defer to my You're Doom for most of those sounds. Incidentally, the You're Doom and Proton combo sounded ridiculously good for me today.
Not sure if any of this is helpful, but good luck - I hope that you find one that you dig!
What kind of breakup character are you looking for? Barbershop or Johnk Gamma would both be nice in that setup.
See I've considered the barbershop, and the sft seems like a contender too. I've never heard the gamma before... I'll need to check those out! I guess I'm looking for a rounded kinda not farty type of od.
+1 on the Barbershop and the Gamma.
If you wnat to be able to do an old school OD sound, the SGFX Beta might be a good idea. The SFX Micro Red Dragon would also be a good, small choice. The PorkLoin with the JohnK mod is also great.
Another one would be the JohnK Orange Bass Preamp
I would scratch the SFT off the list. It's great at what it does but can get farty very quickly, and it has definite baked-in sound. The Beta was a good suggestion; it's actually my favorite OD for my rig. It's rounded in my opinion, as it rolls of some highs and really fills in a lot of gaps on the low end, plus has a nice crunch to the overdrive sound. There again, very baked-in EQ that you might not like with the rest of those tasty pedals in your setup...or might like quite a lot. The Barbershop is good for adding a subtle harmonic richness or a pushed tube vibe, but it will fart if you turn the gain up for more of an OD sound. The Gamma is the most "transparent" one I own, and it has a very nice range to it.

Do you use the DOD bifet as a boost or tone shaper?? I'm really curious about it and the reissue. I love DOD pedals so if I have an excuse to get one or two, I do. I've always been really curious about the bifet but I've never heard of or seen many or barely anyone use them.

I actually have two of those, and I love them. I've primarily been using it as an always on tone shaper/buffer but recently to even out the differences between my P-bass and J-bass. If I could fit them on the Jr I'd definitely have both on there and use on for each bass.
Event at unity gain they just seem to make the tone "wider/bigger".
Haven't tried the reissue but I'm dying to!
This SHOULD be my last update for a long time ... but I thought the same thing when I posted my last update a few days ago. However, I'm quite happy with the EHX Pitch Fork I just picked up today. It's takes the spot of my now gone MXR Bass Deluxe Octave. I've only had it for a couple of hours and still experimenting with it. The more I play with it though, the more I'm liking it.
