It's the MP-201, it is a CV/ Midi controller with a built in LFO. It makes your body go VVVRROOOMMMMMAAAAHHHHHHHHH*ESPLODE*

HWY1 Jazz body w. 62 RI pups, black BAII that the anodizing is wearing off to reveal some sweet chromage. Hipshot UL, AllParts neck. It is basically my dream bass, and I love it. WWHHAAAAA

Because it is the reason for my board, I figure it'll be swamped out soon enough :hiding:

Definitely a sweetheart Dann. I love when the Anodization (sp?) starts to wear off of the hardware.

What exactly do you have going on here? At first I was thinking -- why does anyone need a A/B switch to select between a tuner & 1 pedal... but, you've also got a wireless unit on there, and maybe there's tone suck issues... anyways -- feel free to explain a bit...

I have th LS-2 set to A+B mix. I am blending my clean signal with the VT basses grind. I always felt the VT's tubeyness was the bee's knees, but that I was getting a mid scoop / it was too harsh and sensitive and could really use a blend knob. This is essentially a VT bass with a blend knob.

I have an x-blender on the way!

I think I'm going to order a Pedaltrain Mini next month, which will give me plenty of time to keep my eye open for a used one. I'm going to assemble my first board thanks to you guys.

Unfortunately, I'm not really an Effects Freak. I'd classify myself as a Fuzz W***e.

My board will be my Sonic Research Turbo Tuner, Aguilar AGRO, Fuzzrocious Rat Tail, Pickle Pie B, and an ISP Decimator. I think for my birthday I am getting a Phat Phuk B to put on as well. I'll probably go with a Godlyke Power and a daisy chain. I MIGHT try to trade my Rat Tail for the new, smaller version.

HOWEVER, this is where my problem starts. Since I have such a hard-on for fuzz pedals, I nee to try 100 more before I settle. I might order a Dark Driving soon and compare it to the Phat Phuk. Who knows? I might end up keep both and running them with a fuzz or two for sheer madness.

There are a good 10-15 pedals I need to try, though. I have to do a lot of buying and selling before finding my tone, so I might just have to become a supporting member. I already know the JHS Lime Aid I JUST received is going be sold to fund other pedals. I just don't think I'll be using it.

I just want to end up with two-three really solid fuzz pedals, then a boost or two, and go from there.

Well - in that case... THAT'S COOL!!! I thought it was just a big, setup for nothing - but, I obviously wasn't getting it. I've been really, really enjoying my MXR M82 lately due to it's blending features. I don't know what it's not a bajillion times more common to incorporate blend knobs...

i've been looking at that. i love Kontakt and Battery, i jus miss the interface of a hardware synth. how do you like Maschine? does it feel like using a hardware drum machine?

do you use it with a sequencer? i'm using Cubase and Sonar, i think i'm gonna spend the time to get my head around Live though.

MURRRR. soft samplers are AWESOME.

Dude Maschine is the S$%T! It does feel like using a hardware drum machine(it kind of is hardware and software). The only sequencer I use is in Maschine, but I use Live For a DAW if I want to add live instruments or I use Reaper to convert it to wave or mp3 format if I am only using stuff I created in Maschine. The ability to use VSTs in Maschine is super sick. There is a great site to help with tips/tricks, advice, and help called maschinemusic.com

niiiiice. i think i'll pick it up and if i like it (sounds like i will) then i might move my Electribe and Elektron Drum Machine.

maybe. so much love for those things. i spent a 3 weeks in Italy just delving on the OG Electribe EM 'un.

Nice,...looks like Larry is upping his game on the aesthetics.

I've got a couple of his pedals and although they are really cool pedals the finish quality has an Etsy appeal to them.

Your ChkChk looks good, to the point that I'm surprised that it's an OHNOHO!!!

Rather incomplete from some recent changes but here's me....

My main homemade board... Just got the Grey Stache yesterday. My guitarist swiped my POG that goes between the 'Stache and the Morley PWV, the PWV is temporarily taking the place of my PWF which I've been tweaking the past few months. I intend to get a Small Clone or another nice chorus to finish out my modulation at the top.
