WOO.

You guys make this look easy.. It is NOT.

This is my first pedal board... PLEASED.

So angry...

I like the pretty lights.

My fav board that isn't my own. Nice job. Can I ask why you decided to get rid of your MWBDP?
With two existing overdrives, a fuzz, and a bk3 coming in the mail, I figured one of the Pro's would have to bite it for realestate. After some deliberating I realized that having an envelope+phaser+wah all in one, the BEF justifies the need for 3 presets; moreso than the mwbdp. I was only using one of the presets on the mwbd for distortion anyways, the other two were just for mid & low/sub EQ boosts. I may end up with a non-pro version eventually. Also, I had sell a few things to offset the acquisition of an fbass bn5 (so I can destroy it's beautiful earthy tone by over-processing the hell out of the signal) :D

Some shots of the board. Still in transition - waiting on my Loop-master switcher, some Lava cables, and a Modfactor. I've got room for an sfx Micro Red Dragon and I'll need a board for the ME-8B and other goodies (including and expressionator or two)...

Schweetness! Diggin' the board. I had a Geiger Counter for about a week but it was too much pedal for a simple man like myself, lol. Also, the more I see these BEFPs the more I want to just sell my regular one and go Pro myself. I know I will but I gotsta get me a reverb first.

...And bought myself a Fender sublime (Special thanks go to Sillyfabe and Eyeballkid without whose persuasiveness this would not have been possible ;) ).

Oh man, this is it, this is my Fuzz... Its so smooth, I want to melt it down and lather myself with it... But I won't because three week's shipping is far too long to wait for another one.

Then when I think it can't possibly get any better, I feed the bad Monkey into it and it just. Gets. Angry!

On a side note, it looks like I'm gonna have to build myself a slightly larger tiered board.

I've been messing around with some overdrive designs. The "53" pedal is a tweaked version of something like the Formula No.5 and the next one in the chain is a tube based overdrive.

Are you starting to bend your own enclosures? If so kudos on that.

Did you build your amp/cab? Any linkspam on that?

I've also been considering dumping my MWBDP in favor of the single stomp and replacing my BEF with the pro version.

.

No, I'm not bending my own. I got that from a friend who abandoned a build and I wanted to check out some taller enclosures for one of my older pedals that I'm reworking into a smaller form factor.

I did build the amp though. It's a guitar amp - a 5f1 tweed style '57 champ. I was putting the new kid through it's paces on guitar as well.

Here's a pic

What's the lowdown on that there Narwhal and when I can I expect some clips :D?

Narwhal is a prototype (few yrs old now?) made by IE that never went into production. I think there's only a few around. i was just lucky to score one here second hand in Australia! It's a little mammothy/mastotrony but in a much cooler IE case! Taylor won't be making these (AFAIK) so please don't ask him LOL!

For interests sake i will try to record a clip at rehearsal.

Here's my 1st board. I went with the Trailer Trash 28x16 veltop. I wired the 2 jacks (in and out) myself, hooked up the AC in on the left to 2 courteousy plugs (top and right) and to PPII+. I went with Lava Cables, but just ordered a bunch more cables. I was rushing when I assembled the cables and a few of them don't work and I experienced level drops at one of my shows last weekend. I will carefully redo all the connections. I might replace the BB with a B3K, but besides that, thanks to the input from this forum, the board covers all my needs (rock trio-covers, Keith Urban tribute, country band-covers, country band-originals, as well several fill-in gigs). For someone who's been going Bass-comp-amp for 20 years, this effects thing is a freakin' blast!

Awesome, I kept having the same problems with my Lava cables. I feel pretty dumb about not being able to cut them right, I'd rather solder up new cables. At least I can count on them!

Does that mini looper on the upper left have a clean blend? Nice
Did you think if trying the VT Deluxe effects loop too? I always wondered how functional is was.

Nice board, and it does look like you are set up for every possible combo!
