I'm leaning towards a stylized "Blitz SX" and the silhouette of the tank...
Gonna do some Photoshop mockups after work today, so expect them to be posted some time this evening.

Didn't get around to Photoshop last night, but I did paint the blocks, and wetsand the rest of the top of the body. I took pics with my cell phone and will hopefully upload them this evening.
I'm also hoping I can get some work done on the logo at some point after work today.

The white will be gold - I'm going to print this out with a laserjet on clear laminating paper, paint the white parts gold, and probably paint the lettering "blitz" black.

Thanks. It'll get done tomorrow, and I should be just about ready to final sand and buff the body as well.
Got a bunch of parts in the mail yesterday! 
But jacksmusical evidently didn't notice that I ordered TWO Precision pups, so I guess I'm on hold till they get one more sent my way.
That being said, I've more or less finished the body - I need to get good pics - the top has been sanded down to 2000 and then hit with rubbing compound, but I will probably spend a few more hours really getting it shiny.
The headstock didn't really work out as well as I had hoped - the logo came out well on it's own, but on the headstock it doesn't look all that hot. So I may yet strip that off and try something else. Also have pics but haven't uploaded them from the camera yet.

The wonders of unlimited data packages have allowed me to upload my pics straight to Photobucket.
