    Hi,

I have a 4 string (YAFGPJ) Samick bass shown below in the brochure. I just bought it used, now I am setting it up.

The active pre-amp has several micro-switches on the circuit board.

Would anyone have a schematic or know what they would typically do?

Here is a similar circuit board I found online (from Ibanez GT). The 3 switches are highlighted in red.

btw the 4 pot controls are
    1 master volume
    2 neck-bridge blend
    3 bass
    4 treble

That was my first bass! Can't help with what the switches do though, ended up gutting mine for EMG's. Sure did play well that thing.

I agree. I am working on a song where I need the second octave. The cut-aways in the bass make it very easy to play that high.

Have you tried flipping them to see how the sound changes?

Two kill the output and one seems to decrease the sound.
