All your computer parts are also made in China. So are Studio Project microphones, Mackie mixers and 7+ billion Chinese... I guess they have the assembly thing down pretty well.
I own (3) PLX and they are great. Easier to transport at 21 pounds each, than my original QSC MX-3000a at 69 pounds. I've also owned the RMX and sold it only because it was underpowered at 850 watts. It was impressively constructed and very durable.
I'm Jonesing for an RMX 1850HD specifically to power subwoofers. This model is specifically designed to support heavy 2-ohm loads.
It all boils down to weight. I doubt anybody can hear the differences, especially live bassists.
