My F-1X did fine with my 1602. It does considerably better with the 13 lb 1804.

I use a PLX 3402 to drive my PA mains, and two PLX 2402s to drive my subs (one amp bridged for each sub). A PLX 1602 drives my four monitors. I couldn't be happier. I put two amps into a four-space rack, and the whole thing weighs less than 50 pounds. Here's a pic of an early rendition of my PA rig.
