Inspired from some discussions in a few threads I hang out in...and posted in the effects forum cause...well, this is probably the only gang of TBers that would be into this...

Akin to FEEDBACK FRIDAY why not put some of (y)our fancy home setups to use and lets schedule some talkbass jamkazams or even swap some tracks and collaborate on making music? Tonight I jammed w my old college band (4 piece spread around the country) and we were easily able to jam in near real time.

I've also started swapping tracks w some folks to layer music on top of. Thought it would be easier to create a centralized thread for like minded musicians to find each other. As for me, I play the bass but my forte is making the bass sound like anything but the bass...looking to make music w other folks into open music w sonic creativity intertwined w deep grooves. If weird noises bother you, need not apply. I play mostly bass but also guitar and weird synth-like things. Hit me up, lets jam/create music.

Lemme be the first to sign up on this list. Despite my profile photo featuring a '60 P with flats like a real bass player haha, I literally studied avant-garde music in college and live to buck the sonic trend wherever one arises. And we've talked about cool sounds and whatnot.

Hardware-wise, got 4, 5, and 7-string basses, small complement of guitars, a mandolin, a cheap small electric thumb piano, couple of analog synths, couple of digital ones, lil bit of percussion stuff, a piezo mic, other mics, and a bunch of birds that sing outside of my spot every night/morning. And pedals, but nothing like your collection

I've got a rack o' basses and guitars, a couple of drawers of pedals, synths, samplers and some other stuff I've probably forgotten.
I haven't much in the way of credentials but I've walked the left hand path ever since I found it!

The only thing needed is for someone to make a track to share. Like I mentioned, I've already swapped some stuff w a few others so I'm working on that now before I create a track to share. If anyone wants to create a track to share, hit me up...otherwise, I suspect I'll have some stuff to send around by the end of the week. I'm also interested in having a track go to multiple people and see how different folks handle the same track. This should be fun!!!

I was messing around with something this afternoon, didn't set up the recording gear which was a shame as I read this maybe half an hour after I killed the loopers and lost everything! I'm hoping to put in time everyday so should have some stuff recorded soon.
Any ideas on how we would share files? Dropbox maybe?
