Why? You're raving about an incredible product from a leading after market (formerly boutique) pickup builder.... Support Seymour's business by proudly displaying his logo on his pickups!

What you're asking seems to me the equivalent of being embarrassed that your bass says Lakland instead of Fender. In other words, you've got it backwards. Be proud to display the label of a brilliant after market mod you praise online. Don't be embarrassed.

I happen to think it's an unattractive logo. Why shouldn't I be equally as proud of my bass pickup logo modding skills? What if I want to remove the "B" and "LINES" so that both of my pickups say A$$?

Yeah, I put Quarter Pounders in my Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass. Sounds great! (it's for sale, BTW)

I never thought about black screws. I bet that would look good. May have to give it a try.

I have heard it on this forum somewhere. Use acetone (nail polish remover)

I can account for this method. Used it on my QPs and the logo came right off. No discolouration or anything to the covers themselves.
