So I recently acquired a Yorkville xs400 combo that should have a 15" speaker in it, but doesn't. I'm wondering if I could just take the amp out of the actual cabinet and use it as a standalone amp. Will it still be in a full casing? I've never taken an amp out of a combo before, so I don't know what to expect, and I don't want to screw anything up by jumping full steam ahead into something blindly.
