If you go for an L-2000 or L-2500, be sure to order the "K" mod so you get single coil mode. Many report that it's fantastic.

I had my L2500 modded to have Single outer/full/single inner and love it. I have every sound right at my finger tips!

They have the L2K version with nitro finish - will they put that on any bass ordered? I would like one of those jazz-style basses, but would prefer a nitro finish.

The JB has a relic version with the nitro finish, Ed Friedland reviewed it.

I think it is much more expensive compared to the standard...
