Are they well constructed? I'm thinking about selling my ampeg cabs for a Mesa Powerhouse 1200 and a 2x10 or maybe a 1x12. I love the tone from those cabs - Just wondering if they'll last a while.

Yes I have 2 115 powerhouse cabs. They are very well built and travel well. They are heavy though.
I have two Roadready's (a 2X15, and a 1516BE)
They are built more solid than the Dodge Caravan I move them in.

Mesa builds all their gear bulletproof. The cabs are among the heaviest on the market, BECAUSE they're built so solidly.

I tried one at a GC and really cranked it with a GK700RBII and it literally produced WIND.

Absolutely. Having taken some of their cabs apart for reviews, and having gigged on the road with Mesa/Boogie cabs for about 4-5 years, I can definitely vouch for their quality. These are some of the best cabs out there, IME/IMHO.
