Question about replacing pickups

Hi!

I am new to tinkering with the electronics on my bass. I have a Squier Jaguar bass and recently had some problems with a loose connection with the battery. I opened it up, got curious about the wiring and, long story short, all the electronics are now out of the bass. :) We've since moved and I think some of the pieces are lost so at this point I'm looking to just order a new set of pickups and install those.

My question is, how can I tell which pickups will fit in my bass? From the info page on the Fender site my bass has a "PJ" pickup configuration; does this mean that pickups from any manufacturer that are "PJ" models will work?

I was specifically looking at these:

Are those compatible? Also, will I need any other parts, such as knobs?

Those pickups in the link are active & they come with a complete active system, with two volumes & tone potentiometer.

After verifying with the measuring tape that they will fit, I went ahead and ordered the PJ set from EMG above.

I've been interested in learning for some time, both because of the bass and because I've been interested in constructing some simple circuits or whatnot (as a software developer by trade, I'm curious about what goes on at the hardware level of computers). I thought I would be forced to finally learn in order to install the pickups, as I didn't know there were solderless models available. That's not actually why I chose the EMG (though it's a nice feature), I'd read that the Spector basses Colin Edwin uses have EMG pickups so I figured if they were good enough for him they're good enough for me!

Anyway, thanks for your help everyone. I'll post back with how the installation went.
