Question about small cabinet with 5 string

Mesa Walkabout Scout 1-15 - Sounds great. Fat warm and round but will clear up nicely as well. My favorite tone cab.

Euponic Audio 2-10 - More of a mid heavy tone out of the box but it will get beefy too. Not nearly as light as the Walkabout but compact enough. LOUD!

I only play 5 string basses.

A fEARful 12/6 would be worth looking into.
Last night I was playing a Dingwall Combustion through a single 12/6. I dropped a sustained C-bomb at the end of a song. The drummer's reaction was "Wow"!; the guitar player's was "Holy ****!"

Moral of the story is: Don't be afraid of (well designed) small cabinets as long you have enough power to push the lows through them

It's amazing what those little cabs can put out. :bassist:

About the only thing one can say about smaller cabs is that they generally move less air than larger cabs.
What you can definitely say is that smaller cabs are less efficient (sensitive) at low frequencies than larger cabs.

The only thing one can "definitively" say about smaller cabs is that they are smaller.
