Question about the long wait when buying online.

I found these at the EB forums, they just killed me.

I own a Bongo 6, HS Sterling Silver black PG (as JM use it) and I can tell you that is a great instrument, it's very confortable the neck is great and the HS gives you great tones.
I order it in BAssCentral And it took like 7 months to arrive, I have it since March '08 and it's my main instrument...until I get my BFR 25Ann.

I just went to the Musicman/Bongo Bass site and these are beautiful basses. No wonder the long wait! Sh_T If Ihad the money ($2500 +) , I'd try to get to the factory and buy one that way. I know I'm speaking off the top but in any case nothing is worth a 7 month wait, except these beautiful basses. Seems to me that I could get one through a local Samash Store.....Drop and ship ! Look all kidding aside, when you do get one of these babies post pictures and let me hear it........Good Luck......
