Question for Highway 1 Jazz owners

What kind of strings do you use & what type of rig do you have?

I use heavy gauge Rotosound flats thru a Yorkville 200 watt 1 x 15 combo with a Hartke 2 x 10 extension speaker.

I am loving the tone but I'm thinking I need more watts for more headroom.

im using d'adario flats on mine and love the tone. playing through a mesa 400+ and a peavey pro 410 cab. just got the amp, sounded great live, so much authority without being boomy. I think i've finally honed in on MY tone
Previosly played through a peavey max preamp and power amp setup, sounded real good, but always hit and miss live, depending on stages and sound. plenty of headroom, too much to use. just didnt cut through. I would say 200 watts won't cut it, what is your style, band? gigs?

Blues, thankfully all the rooms around here are smallish - 250 seaters max.

We play just about every week end - at least 2x per month.

But your right 200 watts just aint enough...I'm looking an SWR Redhead 400 watts should be perfect.
