It mostly depends on the bass, imo. If you have a Warwick Corvette or a Musicman, it'll purr like a tiger. With my 2005 Jazz Bass with standard modern Fender pickups, there isn't really much growl.
Then again, why would you want an amp that does nothing other than amplify the singal? You can use a 50 dollars DI and sent it straight to PA for that![]()
took the plunge today and bought the LMII Ltd Ed...now i just need some cabs and i was thinking about an avatar just like the OP...any thoughts...
I agree and then I don't. A week before I got my Markbass stuff, I bought an older Nemmy combo for light duty. I thought the sound was really good and very usable. I've never liked Eden, but I do like Nemmy. Then I tried the Mini CMD121P combo and immediately bought it and flipped the Nemmy because I felt it was a lot better and lot closer to my tonal goals. That isn't to say the Nemmy wasn't good, and it's not to say the poster should flip his Nemmy to get an LMII. But I didTo the OP.. .the Nemesis heads are, IMO, the best sounding heads in the Eden line-up... warm, fat, punchy, and very little 'wool' to cloud up the tone. Unless the weight bothers you, I'd stick with what you have.

any reason for 2 112's instead of 2 210's?
