Question for Pedulla Players

Yep, I tried to find a socket that would fit, everywhere, I ended up buying one from Pedulla. BUT a buddy of mine said, the shape and size of the truss rod, looks like a DRUM KEY would fit it, but the outer diameter of drum key is too big, I spent all of a Saturday, going to all hardware stores, hoody stores, etc, trying to find a tool, that would fit on the truss rod.

I like saving money, but getting a wrench from Pedulla, to be safe, makes sense too.

I still regret the day I sold my Pedulla Pentabuzz. I loved the neck, tone, mojo still have no idea what I was thinking when I sold it. About a month after I sold it I went to a concert and Mark Egan was playing his pentabuzz and getting some of the best sounds I've ever heard, I've wanted to purchase another one every since. You will love that thing and that price is a very good deal.

hi doc I have owned a pedulla for over 20 years get the wrench from mike it is only $20. the one that they are talking about does not work well because of the angle. you have to be careful or you will strip the square bolt. this happened to me. the wrench angle would not line up with out removing strings and it stripped the nut. mike was awesome and replaced the bass. he used to provide those exact wrenches. they were bogus. the new one is at a better angle and is made better, those other wrenches are made with cheap white metal which cracks. ps to replace that truss rod mike charges $950. remember to tighten, turn left to loosen turn right. great score good luck.

I will order the wrench from Mike because replacing that neck would cost as much as I am paying for the entire bass.
