Question for Pedulla Players

Yes, you will need that. With any luck it will come with the bass.

But there is a much cheaper alternative to the one that Pedulla sells that I find looks and works the same, with the same wooden handle.

But I cannot remember what this alternative was designed for, or where I got it. A google search didn't help.

Anybody else?

I've owned three Buzz basses and the coating never lifted. It did wear slightly but was never a problem.

Michael does use a strange truss rod but you will find it very effective. A small tweak and the relief changes. However, you must be very careful to keep in mind that it works exactly backwards. Turning the nut clockwise increases the relief...counter clockwise reduces it.

Thanks, that’s important to know!

Those Thunderbasses are no joke! I sure thought about buying one when Guitar Center was clearing out their Pedullas seven or so years ago.

I checked the serial number of the used Pedulla Pentabuzz I have on layaway. It was made in 2004. Does it need the special Pedulla tool for trussrod adjustment?
Yep, I tried to find a socket that would fit, everywhere, I ended up buying one from Pedulla. BUT a buddy of mine said, the shape and size of the truss rod, looks like a DRUM KEY would fit it, but the outer diameter of drum key is too big, I spent all of a Saturday, going to all hardware stores, hoody stores, etc, trying to find a tool, that would fit on the truss rod.
