Every printed reference, both on store/dealer websites and Spector's own website (and spoken reviews I have come across, and even for sale adds) state that the Bantam neck is a 1.5 inch width nut. Unless mine is an anomaly, that is inaccurate. My calipers read 1.644 inch. And I'm assuming CNC machines do not make mistakes these days.
So... could anyone out there who owns a Bantam measure their Bantam nut width and satisfy my curiosity? Is it 1.5 or 1.64? I would definitely prefer a 1.5 inch nut rather than the chunkier profile mine has (not that I'm complaining too loudly, because it is definitely a wonderful bass). Did Spector change the nut width somewhere along the line to a slimmer profile than mine? Or is it just a flub on the specs and they are all wider like mine?
