Question for the cat owners here

I have a female that I adopted at Petco. She's the most affectionate cat I've ever had. Sleeps under the covers, follows me around, cuddles, etc. Never scratched anything in the house. I don't care what anyone else thinks, I am completely opposed to declawing a cat. That aside, make sure the cat is negative for FIV and FNLV which is feline imunovirus and feline leukemia respectively. There's no cure for either and both are a death sentence more sooner than later.

Cats know who likes them and will start warming to you in a couple days max. Kittens are going to run around and do all sorts of cool things that you may or may not like. Enjoy it while it lasts. Scratching post, toys, and regular play time will insure a life long companion.

I love my cat. She was a stray that I took in. I had her fixed and gave her flea and worm medicine. She comes in during the day to eat sleep and hang out. She keeps herself clean and when she needs to go to the bathroom she sits in front of the door and mews to be let out and mews outside when she wants to come back in.Thats pretty low maintenance which is what Im all about.
