I guess Rumble OD isn't for everyone. I like it, but I prefer Aguilar's
if your house is shaking, get a Gramma pad

Do they make these in house sizes?

I was able to turn up the volume a little more before things started rattling, once I got a Gramma

A little bit sure, but if you want feel your pant legs being blown around bass coming out of it, your house will be shaking.

My 500 arrived Friday and I've spent the weekend getting to know it. Clean tone is great. I'm running the Eq's pretty flat and employing the bright and vintage buttons. My house has too many loose things to try out the horsepower but the tone is really nice.

My concern is the overdrive. Activated it sounds bad. Wasp like. I've tried different combinations of gain, drive, level, master and none really seem to make a lot of difference. The ability to have a nice overdrive was one of the reasons I chose this amp. I even sprung for the footswitch!

Any ideas or suggestions?

I don't use the OD much if at all any more. Just the stuff I play had no reason for overdrive at this point...
