Question on Peavy Millennium trus rod adjustment

I just purchased a previously owned 4-string left hand Peavey Millennium BXP (passive). Very nice but when setting up, I would have liked to have been able to tighten the truss rod a bit more but it is set as far as it will go. Still, very playable, intonates well, and sounds nice (I am just a beginner player by the way). Any advice on further reducing the bow? I'd like the neck to be as straight as possible. By the way, as soon as I got the bass, I removed the round wounds and installed Fender .45-.105 flatwounds. Would lighter gauge flatwounds make any difference?

Thanks.

Thanks. I was surprised though when I couldn't tighten the truss rod any further (never force it!). Seems like on all my other bases there is room to spare. Not so with the Millennium BPX. I think I might try lighter gauge flatwounds. I love flatwounds. Any suggestions for a good set of light gauge flats?
