Question Regarding Playing Outdoors

I will be playing multiple times in an open-air room this summer as a part of a 5 piece band. It is a small auditorium-type of room that will most likely always have its doors open (multiple doors on the sides and back of the room).

Now, there is another room adjacent to the open-air auditorium that is air conditioned 24/7 (so obviously a MUCH lower temperature than the auditorium) and usually has the door shut. My question is this - would it be better to leave all my gear out (amp head, cab, bass) in the open-air room, or should I move it to the AC'ed room after each gig? I would think that it'd be better to move it into the AC'ed room to avoid the summertime humidity, but I've heard that it is better to keep it at a constant temperature and humidity. I figured I'd turn here, so what do you guys think? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Humidity could be an issue with your set up on the bass. Your rig will be just fine. I play my Modulus' when we do outdoor gigs. The humidity and temp changes do not effect them. I think that really is going to be your only worry. At the end of the night, if it is so humid that the water is running off your rig (yes I have played those gigs too), you will need to go through your rig and clean it, dry it and air it out the next day to make sure the cone is dry and all the contacts for cables and connectors are clean and water free.

Well, that definitely doesn't sound good.

How does this sound then? What if I were to move ONLY my rig (amp and cab) to the AC'ed room to avoid the humidity issues while leaving my bass in its case in the open-air room? Would it negatively affect my rig at all if I subject it to such temperature/humidity changes, or is that problem only present with the actual bass itself?
