I have a 6 year old well used bass for sale. The truss rod is very tight to adjust and may be at maximum adjustment due to the higher tension of the stainless steel flat wounds that were recently mounted. Right now, the bass is perfectly adjusted and intonated and plays great. I am concerned that the new buyer may try to tighten up the truss a little more and may not be able to. It is possible that they may never touch it as the bass plays and sounds fine. I have never experienced a situation like this and am not sure what to do. Should I advise the buyer before they take delivery of this or should I just let it ride and deal with it if and when it arises. Thanks for your input.
