My equipment consists of:
- fairly good pc
- performer jazz
- zoom b2
- laney rb4
how can i achieve louder bass recording because for now all recordings going either direct or trough zoom b2 to line in were fairly low in volume?
also if i go from laney's DI to line in does the volume knob on amp affect DI's output level or i control it on PC?
and if i do go through DI, is amp's speaker in function or turned off? i mean .. can i use it as a DI box of sorts?
I'm usually recording myself with WMM and audio input set as Line In instead of front/camera mic. but audio is too low for any better recording, whether i go direct or trough zoom b2. i haven't tried trough laney's DI since i don't have a cable yet, so i'm asking because i can't really afford it if it's not usable that way.
